Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Used Car Sales Executive at their established dealership in Cardiff. This is a fantastic Car Sales Executive opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to develop their career within a reputable, franchise-approved environment.

• Basic salary of £19,000 with a company car or £23,000 without a company car
• Uncapped commission scheme, providing on-target earnings of £45,000+ per annum
• 30 days annual holiday, with day in lieu for bank holiday working

Duties of a Car Sales Executive:

• Selling used vehicles across a diverse stock portfolio
• Promoting and upselling add-ons, accessories, finance, insurance products, and extended warranties
• Keeping customers informed about vehicle delivery status and providing relevant updates
• Resolving customer queries efficiently
• Conducting demonstrations of vehicle features and explaining warranty and servicing arrangements
• Collecting payments and ensuring smooth vehicle handovers
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business
• Working proactively to maximise sales opportunities and deliver exceptional customer service

Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:

• Proven success in automotive vehicle sales, preferably within a franchise-approved dealership
• Strong customer relationship management skills
• A genuine passion for vehicles and the motor trade industry
• Ability to work independently and target-driven attitude
• Brand-focused mindset with a professional approach
• A valid UK driving license with minimal points
• Flexibility to work during weekends, with Sunday working required in March and September
