This notice explains how CardiffJobs handles personal data. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data we collect on this site
- Search queries you type into the site search are stored in our database to power the "Popular Searches" feature. These records do not identify you personally.
- Server logs record each request (page, time, IP address, browser type) for security and to count visits. They are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify individuals.
- Apply clicks are counted per site so we can see which job adverts people apply to. No name or contact details are recorded on this site.
This site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare, which protects the site, may set a short-lived security cookie (for example __cf_bm) when it checks that a visitor is not an automated program.
What happens when you click Apply
The Apply button sends you to CV-Library, an independent UK job board. Any personal data you submit (name, CV, contact details) is collected by CV-Library, not by us. CV-Library's privacy notice is at cv-library.co.uk/privacy-policy.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise these rights, email [email protected].
Cookies
This site does not set analytics or tracking cookies and does not use advertising cookies on job or apply pages. The only cookie you may see is Cloudflare's security cookie described above; blocking it does not stop the site working.
