🏠 PROPERTY CONDITION SURVEYORS, TEAM LEADER – SOMERSET 🏠

We’re recruiting for an experienced Team Leader – Home Condition to lead a team of Property Condition Surveyors and Domestic Energy Assessors across Somerset.

📍 Somerset – field based
🏢 Nearest office: Weston-super-Mare
💰 £42,011 – £46,679
⏰ 37 hours per week
📅 6-month fixed-term contract
🔎 Basic DBS required

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor / Property Surveying Team Leader with a strong social housing or RSL background.

The role will include:
• Leading and managing a team of surveyors and energy assessors
• Overseeing stock condition survey programmes
• Ensuring surveys meet Decent Homes Standard & HHSRS requirements
• Monitoring survey quality, performance and data accuracy
• Supporting SAP / energy efficiency data collection
• Validating planned repair recommendations
• Working closely with neighbourhood and asset teams
• Supporting sustainability and net zero objectives

We’re looking for someone with:
✅ Strong building surveying / property condition experience
✅ Previous management of technical or surveying teams
✅ Social housing / RSL experience
✅ Excellent knowledge of Decent Homes & HHSRS
✅ Understanding of PAS 2035 and energy efficiency
✅ Experience using stock condition databases
✅ Basic Asbestos Awareness

Desirable: CIOB, CIH, RICS or equivalent, Domestic Energy Assessor and/or PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessor accreditation.
