We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Central Junior Support Analyst to join our IT Applications team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central who is looking to develop their skills within a collaborative and supportive environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining day-to-day support for Business Central and associated business applications while our senior applications team focus on a major systems implementation project.

Working closely with experienced analysts and technical specialists, you'll gain valuable exposure to business systems, application support, testing, administration and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

As a Business Central Junior Support Analyst, you will:

• Provide first and second-line support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Investigate and resolve user issues, service requests, incidents and system queries.
• Manage and prioritise support tickets, ensuring users are kept informed throughout the resolution process.
• Support user administration activities, including user setup, permissions and access reviews.
• Assist with data maintenance, validation, imports and exports.
• Participate in system testing, release validation and configuration checks.
• Maintain accurate support documentation, knowledge articles, FAQs and user guidance.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to support and enhance business applications.
• Deliver basic user training and guidance where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance processes and system usage.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping users and building their knowledge of business systems and ERP applications.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience using, supporting or administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience working within an IT support, service desk, application support or business systems environment.
• IT-related degree, HND, BTEC qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
• Understanding of IT support processes and service management principles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, document activities clearly and escalate issues appropriately.
• A genuine interest in business systems and the role technology plays in supporting business operations.

Desirable Experience

Experience or exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:

• Progressus or similar Business Central project management extensions.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM).
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Power Platform technologies, including Power BI, Power Apps or Power Automate.
• ERP, CRM or other business applications.
• ITIL principles or experience working within a ticket-based support environment.
